Regional Night Meetings

The Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts, located in Natchitoches, is a selective admissions public high school for high ability junior and senior students. LSMSA is an outstanding educational opportunity designed for high ability students who want and need a more challenging, faster-paced, less restrictive and more exciting curriculum than they currently have. Prospective students and their parents are encouraged to visit the Louisiana school. Overnight visitation days are scheduled this year in November and January. Reservations are required. Contact Ms. Ann Price at 318.357.3174x103 or 800.259.3173 for reservation information. During these visits, applying students will spend the night in the residents hall as a guest of the student body, sit in on classes, and have the opportunity to speak to LSMSA faculty and administrators. Presentations and campus tours are provided for parents. Day visits to the Louisiana School are also encouraged. What does the Louisiana School look for in an applicant? Good character, curiosity, and proven academic experiences are the keys to a successful application.
